Negotiation can help people achieve aims and solve problems. It is about reaching win: win solutions, where all parties feel the outcome is fair. This course will help students understand the process of negotiation - how to prepare, having clear aims and objectives, how and when to use different negotiating styles, strategies and tactics. Experiential learning through negotiation simulations with fellow participants will give students the confidence to be a successful negotiator. Students will develop the ability to research and write a documented paper and give an oral presentation.

It will also sharpen students’ communication skills within the company and help advance their career.
