Course Description and Objectives:

1. The course is designed to build teacher confidence both in terms of using the English language for teaching in the classroom, as well as in being able to experiment with classroom management and English teaching materials.
2. Students will be given the opportunity to explore their own teaching personalities, think about how to present themselves in class, decide on how to discipline and give instructions, and to adapt language learning materials for their students.
3. Discussions in class will focus on the use of English for different teaching situations and how to confidently use English in front of learners.
4. Assignments will focus on teacher self-reflection and creativity. The language focus for the tasks are fluency and accuracy in use of English for self-expression and in presenting creative ideas.
