The aim of this course:

 

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the practice of managing organizational change in our dynamically changing world.

During the course, students will gain knowledge about:

- types of changes,

- the process of managing change at the organizational level,

- the relationship between change and personality types (MBTI based),

- key roles in change management,

- case studies

 - good practices

 

- integrated change management models:

o The Lewin model of change,

o Kübler-Ross model,

o Kotter's model of change,

o ADKAR model,

o Hersey – Blanchard model,

o the McKinsey 7S model,

o Stephen R. Covey 7 habits model

Competencies to develop:

a) Knowledge

The student knows and understands the activities of organizations aimed at adapting to change, the related operational and management contexts. Knows types and processes of change, as well as the actors and strategies of change management. He is familiar with different change management models and good practices.

b) Abilities

The student is able to identify the problems characteristic of change management and to select and apply appropriate methods in order to eliminate them.

c) Attitude

The student is open to a creative approach to change management problems and is interested in solving related tasks in teamwork.

d) Autonomy and responsibility

Autonomy in the diagnosis of change management challenges, awareness of social responsibility related to organizational change.
