The aim of this course is the presentation and interpretation of the history and the theoretical background of development policies of the European Union. This course focuses on real processes, the recent (2014-2020) and the next (2021-2027) financial, programming and planning period of the Community. The main topics are the basic theories of regional and sectoral developments, the advantages and disadvantages of these policies, the reasons of development policies, the instruments of development policy, the planning and programming processes, and specialities of the Hungarian development policy since change of the regime (from 1990 till now).
